Redcliffe Musical Theatre
Redcliffe Musical Theatre (RMT) is a Redcliffe based community theatre company in Queensland, Australia. Whilst based at The Miller Street Theatre in Kippa-Ring, the main house productions take place in the Redcliffe Cultural Centre. RMT is the area's leading theatre group, renowned for providing quality musical theatre to the Moreton Bay Region.〔()〕
==History==
Redcliffe Musical Theatre was founded in 2009. Their mission is to provide affordable performance opportunities and training for actors, singers, dancers, directors and technicians; with a key focus on young people. RMT gives back to the community through charitable donations; giving hundreds of free tickets to nursing homes, outpatients and families, and through performances at charity events and aged care facilities across the region. RMT have become a major part of the cultural life at the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding area.
Since the inaugural production of The Sound of Music in August 2010, RMT has produced a number of big name shows, including; The Wizard of Oz, JC Superstar, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors and numerous others.
